Former Western Nevada College star Brian Barnett received another honor for his outstanding junior season for the University of Nevada baseball team when he was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings all-West Region first team.

 

 

The team was selected by the 36 coaches of the 36 schools that make up the West region. This past season, Barnett led the Wolf Pack with 18 home runs and 71 RBI while hitting .348. He also posted a .701 slugging percentage and 157 total bases.

 

His home run and RBI totals were the fourth best in school history and his slugging percentage and total bases were the seventh best in school history.
